Churches United With Israel (CUWI) was founded by Dr. Mike Evans, who is also Founder and CEO of the Friends of Zion (FOZ).
Dr. Evans has been standing in defense of Israel for over 50 years. As a strong voice for the Jewish people, he is leading a massive worldwide prayer army of Believers to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
Growing up, Dr. Evans heard from his Jewish mother that “Christians hate Jews.” No doubt she believed that because her grandfather perished when his synagogue (in what is now Belarus) was burned to the ground by Nazis, killing everyone inside.
Dr. Evans’ life story is an amazing testimony of God’s grace and power. He has devoted his life to defending Israel and encouraging other Christian Believers to do the same.
It’s sad to see, but once again, anti-Semitism is increasing around the world. The new face of that old evil is anti-Zionism, in which the right of Israel to exist in peace is threatened.
Churches United With Israel is a strategic effort to encourage pastors, church leaders, and their congregations to stand firm in their support of Israel, and in so doing, become a powerful force to battle modern day Anti-Semitism.
